Unlike many other 'local food' directories, this site uses the database from FARMA, the National Farmers' Retail & Markets Association - the trade association looking after the interests of, and representing farms selling direct to the public in the UK. This means that the farms and shops listed on this site are the very best in local food: the farmers' markets are inspected and Certified, farm shops are Accredited, and all are part of a community driven to offer only the best, and only real local foods to you.
Who are you? Who runs this site? This site is owned and run by Lloyds Europa, the managing agents of FARMA. We have years of experience in the local foods sector, working from a national & political scale right down to helping individual FARMA members improve their farm shops or farmers markets.
